QUALITY ASSURANCE CERTIFICATE – explosive ordnance clearance and disposal

The company Különleges Biztonsági Szolgáltató és Tanácsadó Kft. (Special Safety Service and Advisory Ltd.) hereby certifies that – based on the implementation plans, overview site plans and list of Uniform National Projection co-ordinates supplied by the Customer as well as their consultations with the Customer – they have completed the tasks of explosive ordnance clearance and disposal according to the actually effective legal rules and standards as well technical requirements in accordance with the provisions laid down in Works Contract No ….. by means of special devices for metal detection and bomb detection (VALLON EL 1302D2, VALLON VXC1 and LORENZ Deepmax Z1) on the area affected by the investment project.
In agreement with the Customer, the investment area was explored by means of ferromagnetic locators down to an exploration depth of -1.50 m from the actual soil surface. The data of instrumental measurements were registered and analysed. During the execution of the work of explosive ordnance clearance and disposal, altogether three explosive objects were found on 29 December 2017, 02 January 2018 and 03 January 2018.
After taking the primary safety measures, the found explosive objects were reported through the competent local police department to the duty service of the 1st “Honvéd” Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Warship Regiment of the Hungarian Defence Forces to take further measures. In accordance with the valid legal rules, it was the explosive ordnance disposal corps of the 1st “Honvéd” Explosive Ordnance Disposal and Warship Regiment of the Hungarian Defence Forces that provided for the destruction and transport of the found explosive objects.
The bomb-disposal squad of the Hungarian Defence Forces transported the found explosive objects from the site to the central receiving depot for the purpose of destruction on 30 December 2017, 02 January 2018 and 05 January 2018. After the instrumental soil exploration, no hazardous metal waste remained on the project site down to a depth of -1.50 m from the actual soil surface.
We hereby inform the Customer that if operations will be performed below the exploration depth of -1.50 m from the actual soil surface during later construction work, it will be reasonable and necessary to perform the work of explosive ordnance clearance and disposal down to the depth affected by the construction operations.
